Opulen donates bikes to survivors of human trafficking in Cambodia

In September 2016, Opulen made a donation to deliver 27 bikes to survivors of human trafficking, through 88Bikes.

This week we were thrilled to hear that most of our bikes endowed during 88Bikes’ last trip to Cambodia. As per our request, the bikes endowed to one class of girls and 88Bikes found a group of girls who were recently trafficked, some as far away as Amsterdam. The girls are also exceptionally young as you can see in the pictures. One girl had only been free for a few days.

Now they all have bikes and are absolutely thrilled. A bike will give them a renewed sense of ownership, possibilities and happiness, as well as crucially giving them a means of going to school.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures soon!
